Hehe that was quite a fun tube journey back. Iapos;m giggling just thinking about it. Basically...

*I was chatting to some swing-dancers on the tube back when one of the other passengers overheard the conversation and said that itapos;s the sort of thing theyapos;d be interested in too. Would be fun if they joined as thereapos;s so little guys who do it compared to the women, and when theyapos;re asked how they got into it they can say "Well, I was on the Piccadilly Line one day..."

*I got on the Metropolitan up to Kingapos;s Cross, only for the driver to say that due to a defective train in Baker Street they have to bring this one *back* to Moorgate, so everyone had to get off. We were then faced with the frankly surreal sight of the train leaving the platform backwards, which in hindsight I would have videoed with my camera, but ah well.

*A quick trip to Baker Street later and there were two trains on either side of the platform, with Platform 2apos;s listed as apos;Ready to leaveapos; so everyone ran onto that one. A few minutes later with the train still there, people began to move to the train on Platform 1, as the other one was now listed as being Delayed. Except when that happened, the driver then informed us that Platform 2apos;s train was about to depart, causing HUGE laughter from passengers and a mad run back across to Platform 2apos;s train. The doors then closed even though half of the passengers hadnapos;t got on, then re-opened again, then another really long wait, and then, finally, it started moving. People in the carriage were cheering.

Iapos;m feeling quite good. I think itapos;s going to last this time. Things seem to generally be going well and Iapos;d like it to continue, and tomorrowapos;s going to be very fun indeed
