((OOC: Please read first part before this Hope it keeps you entertained :O))

As her arm that was clutching the gun went to pull upwards, ready to aim at the girl(Just a girl...) almostroboticallyasshewatched herdig her hands into the opening of the bagbriskly Megumi found herself freezing. Her instinctive reflex turnedinto a falter, her arm tensing into place as Yukoapos;shidden hands was now becoming visiblein the shafts ofthe mid-dayapos;slightasshe brought them wildly upwards.
She had almost forgottenwhat it looked like...that metallic weapon ofmass-destruction, an object that was actually capable of doing such a unthinkable exploit yet there it was -staring straight at her in all itapos;s dark glory but...never did she imagine that it would have been pointedat her by Yuko Sakaki.

Megumi found her mouth opening wide as if she was preparing toscream but it felt like she couldnapos;t force it to do so. Her throat felt so dry, so numb as she continued to stare down at the barrel of the machine gun. The tears was stillfunctioningthough, so was Yukoapos;s as well at the noticeable sight of her petite face yet...no saintlyemotion came across from it. No sadness, no pity, no guilt, just... The rage. Perhaps what she was thinking of was who would it be first - Mayumi then Megumi or Megumi then Mayumi. To her though it made no difference.
I guess th-this is...
"No"
At first Megumi didnapos;t properly register the piercing, animalistic scream that erupted, causing Yuko to aim her weapon instantly in the direction of it. But it was too late though. The singlegunshot had already ran out.
The sound resembled the noise a cork made when it is taken out of a bottle of wineexcept the pop wasof coursemuch louder thenthis, almostenough to damage her eardrums as Megumi flinched. She didnapos;t even see the bullet, itapos;s destination missed as the jar holding the cherry blossoms at the back of the roomsmashed into athousand pieces. Not even realizing that it was just inches from hitting Yukoapos;s headMegumi immediately cocked her head to the left, already knowing who it was before her watery eyes evenset sight on her.
The smoke trailing up from the gun in Mayumiapos;s hands instantly vaporized into the air but even if she wanted to watch it there was no time as the sudden events took place.
Yuko was already raising the machine gunup to her shoulders as Mayumiaimed the muzzle in her direction again, her expression full of absolute terror, perhaps now on the brink of madness as she screamed before pulling the trigger.
The crackle sound was blocked out though by the sheer rattling beats that followed at the exact same moment, the rapid blasts igniting from the end of Yukoapos;s machine gun that reminded her of firecrackers creating a symmetrical flash of orange and yellow as shedodged to the right. She didnapos;t even see or hear where Mayumiapos;sbullet landed but it missed again as Megumifound herself screaming, hiding her head behind her arms as the shower of fresh bullets slapped viciously against the door beside her.
They made finger sized holes instantly on impact fromwhich one of the doors was now hanging uselessly on itapos;s hinges but Megumi was already looking back ecstatically as she heard more bullet ran out through the shrieking.
Watching Mayumi fire off two bullets ina row as she ran to the left side of the room, the gun exploding as the small brass shellsflew out, Yuko stumbled backwards as they slammed into the wall behind her from which a mist of debrisrustled up from it. Another shriekfollowing after it, Yukoapos;s arms glided in Mayumiapos;s direction as the machine gun rumbled again. Thedozen ofemptyshells spat out around her feet, making a tinkling noise against the floor as another row of bullets swept across the roomin a diagonal line. Sawdust rose up from the floorboards, inches from catching Mayumiapos;s feet as she took cover behind one of the wooden pillars.

Barely noticingthat Yukie was also screamingas she retreatedto the far right-handcorner of the shrinelet alone herself, Megumi spotted Mayumiapos;sderanged expression transforming into something indescribable as she wildly fired another shot while peeking aroundher shelter, the bullet this time slamming into one of the sculptures inside the alcove of the sanctuary.
No...no...no...
No more No more
That was the only thing she could actually think of now through the roar of the continuous gunfire, every judicious thought that she possessed before all this vanishing, not knowing if they would ever return again as Megumi hand now fully pulled out the gun.Her horrifiedscreamsoblivious to the rest of the girls (Just girls...)Megumiraised the heavy gunwith both hands, aimingitmindlessly at Yuko, herexpressionremindingher of aravedpsychopathas shepreparedto fireagain in Mayumiapos;s direction.
"Stop"
That was the only meaningless command that came to her dried lips as she belted it out, praying that the gun would scare them enough to halt, to back away from each other as Megumi held the shaking gun. As she watched Yukoapos;s crazed sight look upon her...the machine gun wasnapos;t pointingat Mayumiapos;s crouched form asshe tilted it around...
...it was pointing at her.
Megumi didnapos;t even remember thinking of anything to say. She didnapos;t even recall that this was going to be her plan. As her face felt like it was widening, as her arms seem to almost magically extend at the same time her cries turned into something you would only hearfrom the victim in grizzly horror movie her index finger actually tightened on the curled trigger, her leaky eyesshutting firmly...
...then there was nothing but the sensation of her body beingpulled backwards slightly, her wrists all the way down to her shoulders being jerked back like someone had wrenched them with a rope from behind as she heard a pop.
It was the first ever time she experienced the effects of a recoil, never actually wanting to experience it let alone fire such a taboo weapon but that was too late to say. Too late to turn back the clock as the tears continued to swarm down her face, her eyelids snapping openas Megumi looked through the smoke rising fromher hot gun.
Even though she was trembling miraculously she could just see Yukoapos;s body suddenly bend over to the left, her face hidden while the machine gun hanged inches from the floor in her right hand. She expected her to suddenly topple over, her body tocollapsefrom itapos;s lifeless yet still standingstance.
No...I didnapos;t...I didnapos;t...I di-?
Then Megumi found herself actually moving now. Her feet slapped against the ground as her blood-curling screamsreturned, her body facing right while her eyes looked petrified at the sight directly in the center of her, desperate to avoid it yet she couldnapos;t actually force her glance away from it...
...as Yukoapos;s ecstatic expression snapped back at her like a jack in the box. Itwasas if someone has switched her power circuit back on as her upper body turned back around to face her almost mechanically, her dangling arms springing into life as they raised up from her bent knees, the left arm tense while the right arm rose up to a ninety degree angle...with the machine gun following. Although it hardly registered inside her pulsing brain Megumi realized her bullet had been lodged somewhere in the cracked wall behind as she saw thenewly developed bullet hole.
Yukoapos;s gun erupted again. Asecond ago it would have been a direct hit, that Megumi would have not been doing what she had just done if she did not move from her exposed position but luckily she did as she leapt. It wasnapos;t actually intentional, maybe it could have been mistaken for simply falling over in the rush of it but Megumi found herself hitting the floor on her stomach, the impact of it making her clench her teeth together in pain as she felt her shoulder collide against the stand of the table. The rain of bullets zoomed over her head as she heard them hit against the opposite wall.
Without thinking it Megumi aimed the gun again up from the edge of the table as she stayed hidden, firing two shots instantly over the sidein Yukoapos;s direction. No sound of her being hit came back to her but another gunshot emerged from the left. It must have been Mayumi taking advantage of the situation. In response came more rapid fire, causing Megumi to bring her outstretchedlegs up to her chest as she heard Mayumi cry in anguish. She might have been hit but her body remained tucked behind the low table to see, the gun clamped inside both of her sweaty palms.
The echo of the gunshots still lingered in thebattle zoneyet no other gunshots followed for several seconds. She could hear shallow breathing but that was it, the momentum being...the quietest she ever heard it since the start of it all. The start.Megumi couldnapos;t even remember in exact detail how it all got to this moment...how...how...
It was then she found herself crying even louder. Perhaps it was the cry a baby would make oran animal made when it was hurt but it was neverthelessadismayed howl. Every inch of her felt like...giving up. It was so tired, so weak, so uncontrolledthat...that she didnapos;t want to be part of it. It was as if she wasscared of her own body, scared of her own mind in itapos;s current status.
This...this was nothing I ever wanted to be...
The facts was though...thatthis was what the game does to people. It messes them up, change them completely, make them think differently of all the things before that they thought was wrong. The difference betweenright and wrong though...made no actual difference here. Itwas kill or be killed. Survival of the fittest. If they wanted to live, if they wanted to go home then those was the rules. But for the first time in her life...she didnapos;t want to follow those rules. She never...never wanted to resort to that if all else failed. They was suppose to escape, all of them, all of them go home...not play.
Iapos;m...Iapos;m so scared though...I-I donapos;t know what to do an-anymore...Shuuya, Mizuho, Yukie...all of us was suppose to es-escape...is it too la-late for that anymore? Pl-please donapos;t say it is...
apos;Hopeapos;.
I think...Iapos;m running out of it Shuuya...
Please help me...
No answer followed though. Nothing was there to guide her the way. Nothing to tell her if she still had some of the essence of Megumi Etou - the shy, quiet girl who enjoyed writing poetry about life and love. A part of her felt like there was no trace of her left yet...she could still feel a figment of itsomewhere. Hidden but still there.
I-Iapos;m...not a killer...I-I donapos;t want to play...but...this must be stopped...it must...I-I still need to see them again...I canapos;t die now...I-I canapos;t...
"I canapos;t."
The grip of the gun was pressing firmly into her skin, the shaking subsiding slightly but the adrenaline was still pumping furiously. It was the time. Escape wasnapos;t a option, the moment was now. If she missed it then...
Only several seconds had passed in the departure of the shooting but Megumi was the first one to act, her fragile frame pouncing upwards from behind her cover as she stood up. The gun was outstretching in her hands, already seeing that Yuko was about to fire the machine gun, her pupils wide and bloodshot. Out the corner of her eye she could see the frenzied Mayumi taking the chance too as she poked out from behind the pillar that was filled with numerous bullet holes, her own gunextending too towards Yuko. It was then she noticed that therewas a trickle of dark red blood running downthe ripped sleeve ofher arm to her hand.
I canapos;t...I wonapos;t die.
Suddenly all of her dim thoughts was blocked out by theguns going off, the girls each screaming in their own terrifying way as fate made itapos;s decisions.
VOTE: Does Megumi Etou miss, wound or kill Yuko Sakaki? Does Mayumi Tendo miss, wound or kill Yuko Sakaki? Does Yuko Sakaki miss, wound or kill Megumi Etou and Mayumi Tendo? Time is 12:35am (Mayumi also has a wound btw)
